D. Scott Klemp is the managing
partner of the firm. His practice is concentrated in the areas
of business, family and real estate law, with a significant
amount of time devoted to business planning, commercial
transactions, contractual issues and advising clients on a
number of employment-related matters. Mr. Klemp has been an
Arbitrator for the Minnesota Better Business Bureau since 1992,
and has served as a volunteer judge for various collegiate and
high school mock trial tournaments.
Mr. Klemp is a 1984 graduate of Hamline University (B.A. Legal
Studies), and he received his Juris Doctor in 1986 from Hamline
University School of Law, where he was a member of the Hamline
Law Review. Mr. Klemp was admitted to the Minnesota Bar in
October of 1986, and the United States District Court for the
District of Minnesota in October of 1986. He is a member of the
Minnesota State Bar Association and Dakota County Bar
Association. Mr. Klemp resides in Eden Prairie, Minnesota with
his spouse, Amy, and his daughter, Alexis. |

Christopher T. Stanton is a partner with the firm. His practice is
focused primarily on the development and implementation of
appropriate estate planning techniques for clients concerned
with the preservation of their estates. Mr. Stanton has
significant experience in the utilization of wills, trusts,
limited partnerships and charitable gifting techniques.
Mr. Stanton is a 1983 graduate of St. Johns University (B.S.
Political Science), and he received his Juris Doctor in 1986
from Hamline University School of Law School. He is a frequent
lecturer on a variety of estate planning topics, speaking
regularly at financial planning seminars, financial planning
group meetings, corporate seminars and on behalf of numerous
charitable organizations. Mr. Stanton was admitted to the
Minnesota Bar in October of 1988, and he is a member of the
Minnesota State Bar Association and Dakota County Bar
Association. Mr. Stanton resides in Stillwater, Minnesota with
his spouse, Deniz, and his sons, Josef, Thomas, and Matthew. |

Marna Wolf Orren has been an attorney with the firm
since October of 1991. She has significant experience in the
areas of family law, probate, civil litigation and other general
civil law issues. Ms. Orren is a 1976 graduate of the University
of Iowa (B.A. Psychology), and she received her Juris Doctor in
1991 from Hamline University School of Law. Ms. Orren was
admitted to the Minnesota Bar in October of 1991, and the United
States District Court for the District of Minnesota in September
of 1992. Ms. Orren is a member of the Minnesota State Bar
Association and Dakota County Bar Association. She resides in
Eagan, Minnesota with her spouse, David. |

Mark D. Kelly
is Of Counsel to the firm. He practices exclusively in the area
of criminal defense. Mr. Kelly is a 1984 graduate of
St. Cloud
State
University
(B.A. Criminal Justice; B.A. Philosophy of Law), and he received
his Juris Doctor in 1987 from Hamline University School of Law.
Mr. Kelly was admitted to the Minnesota Bar in October of 1987,
and the United States District Court for the District of
Minnesota in 2000. Mr. Kelly is a member of the Minnesota
Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. He resides in
St. Paul,
Minnesota
with his spouse, Susan, and son, Atticus. |

Robert C. Black, III is Of Counsel to the firm. He has substantial experience in the areas of family law,
civil litigation, debtor-creditor matters and bankruptcy law.
Mr. Black is a 1984 graduate of The University of Wisconsin -
Eau Claire (B.S. Business Administration), and he received his
Juris Doctor in 1987 from Hamline University School of Law. Mr.
Black was admitted to the Minnesota Bar in October of 1987, and
the United States District Court for the District of Minnesota
in September of 1988. Mr. Black is a member of the Minnesota
State Bar Association, Hennepin County Bar Association, and
Hennepin County Debtor-Creditor Committee. He resides in
Bloomington, Minnesota with his spouse, Heather, and daughter,
Ashley. |
